dnstracesort

Description

dnstracesort is a filter that converts the output of dnstrace(1) from machine-parseable form into human-readable form. It uses TeleType Model 37 control sequences for boldface and underline, which can be interpreted by less(1) or converted to your terminal's own control sequences with ul(1).

History

dnstracesort was originally part of Daniel J. Bernstein's djbdns toolset in 2000.
